Allow local network access
On iPhone or iPad, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network and enable ATEM Pilot. Reopen the app after changing the permission.
Support
Most connection issues come down to local-network permission, Wi-Fi isolation, or addressing. Work through these checks in order.
ATEM Pilot communicates directly with the switcher. It does not require a desktop app or internet connection.
On iPhone or iPad, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network and enable ATEM Pilot. Reopen the app after changing the permission.
Connect iPhone or iPad to a Wi-Fi network that can reach the switcher's wired network. Guest Wi-Fi and client isolation commonly block this traffic.
Try automatic discovery first. On segmented or managed networks, enter the switcher's IP address or hostname manually.
For managed VLANs, ask the administrator to permit the relevant mDNS discovery path and direct UDP switcher traffic, including port 9910 where applicable.
Still offline? Confirm the switcher's current IP from its setup screen or desktop setup utility, then test basic reachability from the same network. ATEM Pilot does not scan subnets by broadcast.
Bonjour discovery requires multicast visibility between the Wi-Fi client and switcher network. Manual IP connection is the preferred fallback for VLANs or networks that suppress multicast.
The interface follows capabilities reported by the connected model. Unsupported features are hidden or clearly unavailable instead of sending an unsafe command.
iOS suspends the live session while the app is in the background. ATEM Pilot reconnects and synchronizes the current switcher state when you return.
Yes. The five-day trial starts only after you select “Start Trial.” It is a local app entitlement, not an App Store transaction, and does not start when you first install the app.
Open Settings → ATEM Pilot Pro → Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that made or shares the eligible purchase.
No. The app returns to free-mode limits while keeping your saved profiles, layouts and preferences on the device.
ATEM Pilot does not upload logs automatically. If you contact support, include only the details needed to reproduce the issue.
Never send passwords, Apple Account credentials, API keys, or private network configuration that is not necessary for diagnosis.
ATEM Pilot includes the required notices for open-source work referenced during development.
