Physical evidence required
A model receives the “Validated” label only after its physical acceptance record identifies the device, firmware, app build and features exercised.
Compatibility
Support is capability-driven, but a model is called “Validated” only after it has been exercised on physical hardware. Simulator coverage is not hardware validation.
A model receives the “Validated” label only after its physical acceptance record identifies the device, firmware, app build and features exercised.
The capability profile and protocol path are planned, but physical testing by the listed hardware family is still required.
The interactive simulator represents the model's intended capability shape. It is useful for training, not proof of network compatibility.
Target protocol and firmware coverage is 7.2 through 10.3. Compatibility can still vary with model firmware and the exact feature being used.
| Model or family | Hardware status | 1.0 target | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| ATEM Production Studio 4K | Physical validation pending | 1 M/E; Program/Preview; Cut/Auto/T-bar; transition settings; FTB; 1 USK; 2 DSK; 1 AUX; macros; classic audio | Primary target for the local acceptance suite. Its simulator/capability profile is not evidence of physical validation. |
| ATEM Mini Extreme ISO | TestFlight planned | Core switching; transitions; keys; AUX; macros; essential Fairlight audio | Simulator profile available. Physical connection and ISO-specific behavior must be verified before validation. |
| ATEM Television Studio 4K8 | TestFlight planned | Core switching across reported M/Es; transitions; keys; AUX; macros; essential Fairlight audio | Simulator profile available. Physical hardware and firmware coverage pending. |
| ATEM Constellation family | TestFlight planned | Capability-driven M/E and source counts; transitions; keys; AUX; macros; essential audio | Family contains multiple configurations. Each tested model and firmware will be recorded separately. |
| Unknown or future model | Unvalidated | Safe discovery and capability inspection where protocol-compatible | Unsupported controls remain hidden. No compatibility promise is made until physical validation is complete. |
Important: desktop ATEM Setup, firmware installation, USB configuration, and a copy of the desktop Software Control interface are outside the app's scope.
The first public release focuses on a reliable universal core. Broader desktop-class workflows follow in 1.x updates after hardware testing.
Updates are intended to add deeper transitions and keyers, SuperSource, media, complete Fairlight processing, camera control, HyperDeck, streaming, recording, timecode, configuration and PTZ workflows. Timing depends on protocol fixtures and physical validation; this list is a roadmap, not a release guarantee.
